The Training of Trainers (ToT) program on Public Order Management (POM) was successfully conducted from February 24 to March 24, 2026, for 62 Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) personnel comprising 12 officers and 50 ORs at the Gyalsung Academy, Tareythang, Sarpang.

The comprehensive curriculum included:

• Life Skills & Leadership: Modules on Gyalsung orientation, leadership of self and others, financial literacy, and psychological first aid.
  
  
• Instructional Proficiency: Training in classroom management, lesson planning, and the use of AI tools and Prompt Engineering.
  
  
• Tactical Proficiency: In-depth sessions on Public Order Management (POM), legal frameworks for crowd control, and practical riot control drills.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Practice in baton use, arrest techniques, handling of tear gas, and Riot Control Drill.

Hon’ble Secretary of Gyalsung, Brig Sonam Wangdi (DT) graced the closing ceremony held in GA Tareythang.

Similarly, the TOT on Structural firefighting was conducted at the NSARTC & SRPF Tashi Gatshel, Chhukha, for 62 RBP personnel comprising 12 officers and 50 ORs. The month-long training focused on equipping instructors with the skills needed to deliver effective training to Gyalsung cadets and to ensure the highest standards of readiness.

The comprehensive curriculum included:

• Life Skills & Leadership: Modules on Gyalsung orientation, leadership of self and others, financial literacy, and psychological first aid.
  
  
• Instructional Proficiency: Training in classroom management, lesson planning, and the use of AI tools and Prompt Engineering.
  
  
• Tactical Proficiency: In-depth sessions on Structural firefighting (SFF), covering hose drill, ladder use drill, pump drill, container fire training, fire safety and awareness.
• Technical Skills: Training on the use of a fire extinguisher, use of a breathing apparatus.
