The Gyalsung Training 2025 will commence on 1st April 2025. In accordance with Section 13 of the Gyalsung Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2022, every eligible Bhutanese citizen is legally obliged to register for Gyalsung.
In particular, this Notification applies to the following:

Required actions: Those individuals who fit the above age and education bracket or have received deferment in 2024 are required to undertake the following actions from 21st June 2024 onwards.

1. Sign up: Access the Gyalsung Portal to create your Gyalsung Account ( if not done already)
2. Register: Access the Gyalsung Portal and complete the registration process.
3. Submit information: Ensure all mandatory and relevant details are up to date.
4. Understand the Gyalsung Program: Visit the Gyalsung website www.gyalsung.bt and social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
5. Medical Examination; Undergo medical examination following announcement at one of the designated hospitals no later than 2nd December 2024.
6. Pre-enlistment activities: Participate in any pre-enlistment or preparatory activities as may be announced by the Gyalsung Headquarters on a periodic basis.
7. Update personal information: Update all personal details, including postal address and contact information on a regular basis if you change your address or contact information (including among others phone/mobile number or email address).
8. Deferment or exemption: If eligible, submit a deferment or exemption application with supporting documents through the Gyalsung Portal

Registration deadline: The registration formalities should be completed no later than 18th September 2024. (90 days from Registration Call starting on 21st June 2024)
Gyalsung Training 2025: The Gyalsung Training 2025 is scheduled to be conducted in two Cohorts for a period of three months each. (First Cohort: from 1st April to 30th June 2025 and Second Cohort from 1st August to 30th October 2025)
Exemption Eligibility: As an exceptional measure, eligible youth who are pursuing further studies or are employed shall be exempted from Gyalsung Training 2025. However, an individual shall be required to sign up and register on the Gyalsung Portal and apply for an exemption.
Medical Examination and Placement: Following successful registration, the individual shall be required to undergo a mandatory medical examination. Upon successful completion of the medical examination, the individual shall receive an enlistment notice.
