Notification for Deployment of Gyalsups on Voluntary National Service Duty -

Gyalsung Headquarters hereby call interested Gyalsups to volunteer for deployment to 27 designated Medical Screening Centres across Bhutan in support of the Medical Screening of enlistees for the 2027 Gyalsung Batch, commencing from 15 October 2026. A total of 56 Gyalsups will be selected for the deployment. Gyalsups may choose and indicate their preferred Medical Screening Centre from among the 27 designated centres at the time of application.

The selected Gyalsups will assist in coordinating and assembling enlistees, providing orientation on screening procedures, supporting medical documentation, guiding enlistees through the screening stations, coordinating with hospital staff, and facilitating the smooth conduct of the medical screening process.

Gyalsups will be engaged for 25 working days per month and will receive a stipend of Nu. 300 per day, equivalent to Nu. 9000 per month. Food and accommodation will not be provided and shall be arranged by the individual Gyalsups. The deployment will be recognized as National Service Duty (NSD), and each Gyalsup who successfully completes the assigned duty will be awarded one (01) NSD point for each day of duty performed. The list of hospitals and the number of Gyalsups required at each screening centre is attached as Appendix ‘A’.
