Gyalsup alumni shine as top performers among 359 graduating recruits in Wangduephodrang.

On 19th August 2026, a historic milestone was celebrated at the Military Training Centre in Tencholing, Wangdue, as 359 recruits officially completed their rigorous training during a magnificent Passing Out Parade. Among the graduating cohort were 117 Gyalsups (93 males and 24 females) who took a monumental step forward on this day by formally joining the Royal Bhutan Army, transitioning from dedicated recruits into proud, active military personnel ready to safeguard the nation.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the Honorable Secretary, Gyalsung Headquarters and the Commandant of Gyalsung Academy Khotokha, representing Gyalsung. Their presence highlighted the profound significance of this Passing-out Parade, which reflects both personal endurance and collective national duty.
