The Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Development Programme is offered by Paro College of Education under the Royal University of Bhutan. This programme prepares students with the knowledge and practical skills required to support the learning, care, and overall development of young children. The programme focuses on child growth and development, early childhood education practices, communication skills, and professional teaching competencies to help graduates work effectively in early childhood learning environments.

| Eligibility | 1. An applicant aspiring to enroll in this programme should have a minimum academic qualification of class XII (BHSEC or equivalent) passed. Additionally, the applicant should have scored a minimum of 50% mark in English and Dzongkha each. 2. An applicant who has not studied Dzongkha in class XII must have taken and passed the subject in class X. 3. Applicants without English scores in their class XII transcripts shall produce a certificate of International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall band score of 5.5 or an equivalent test and score. Alternatively, a proficiency test to assess English language competence will be administered by the Royal University of Bhutan. 4. Applicant must have successfully completed DSP Advance Playschool Programme. |
