Attention all Gyalsups,
It has come to the notice of the National Service Duty Department (NSDD) that several Gyalsups who have confirmed their participation in Skillings and other NSD programs are failing to report to the training centers on the scheduled dates.
Such actions create serious operational challenges and inconvenience for the NSDD and partner stakeholders when participants confirm their attendance but do not report as follows:
- Other deserving candidates lose opportunities – Seats are allocated based on confirmations, and last-minute withdrawals prevent us from offering the slot to someone else who genuinely wants to attend.
- Training schedules are disrupted – Trainers and resources are arranged in advance based on confirmed numbers. No-shows lead to underutilization of these resources.
- Operational planning is affected – Both NSDD and the stakeholders face difficulties in coordinating logistics, budgeting, and manpower when actual attendance does not match the confirmations.
- Overall program efficiency declines- Such behavior weakens the credibility of Gyalsups and GHQs and may result in reduced support for future programs.
Therefore, with immediate effect, any Gyalsup who confirms their participation and later withdraws without prior approval from the NSDD or fails to report to the center on the scheduled date will be barred from participating in any Skillings and other NSD opportunities for a period of one (1) year.
The above administrative actions have already been taken for a few Gyalsups in the past and will be enforced with immediate effect for all such defaulting Gyalsups. The NSDD reminds all Gyalsups to apply or register for the various skillings and other NSD programs only when fully committed to attending and being responsible and respectful of the time, effort, and resources invested in these programs.
