The second batch of one-month Training of Trainers (ToT) for Public Order Management (POM) under the Gyalsung Community Security Skilling (CSS) program commenced on February 24, 2026, for 62 Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) personnel. This training aims to build instructors’ capacity to deliver high-quality public order management training to future Gyalsup cohorts.
The opening ceremony was graced by Colonel Tashi Phuntsho, Gyalsung Project Officer, as the Chief Guest and other officers of the Gyalsung Project Office, Tareythang.
The 2nd batch of POM TOT is being facilitated by 2 Officers and 4 ORs (Master Trainers), and the trainees comprise 12 officers and 50 ORs, all from the RBP.
Over the period of one month, the training will focus on:
● Gyalsung Journey
● Leading Self and leading others.
● Instructors Code of Conduct
● Mess Etiquette
● Crowd control techniques and Legal frameworks surrounding public order
● Instructional methodology (Pedagogy) for effective knowledge transfer.
● Physical conditioning and tactical drills.
