The Gyalsung fraternity marked the joyous occasion of His Majesty’s 46th Birth Anniversary with deep reverence, unity, and gratitude. The celebration at Gyalsung Headquarters commenced with the lighting of butter lamps, symbolizing prayers for His Majesty’s long life and continued well-being. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the solemn recitation of the Zhabten for His Majesty The King, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and for His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck.
A ceremonial cake cutting further added to the spirit of celebration, reflecting the collective joy and heartfelt devotion of the fraternity.
The occasion was also observed with equal enthusiasm and respect across all four Gyalsung Academies, where officers and Non-Commissioned Officers gathered to offer prayers and pay tribute.
