The Gyalsung Headquarters, in collaboration with the Royal Bhutan Police (RBP), Fire Services Division is pleased to announce the conduct of a Basic Fire and Rescue Training for Gyalsups.

The details of the training are as follows:

  1. Training: Basic Fire and Rescue Training
  2. Duration: One (01) month
  3. Start Date: 17 Feb 2026
  4. Venue: RBP Fire Services Division, Thimphu
  5. Slots: 25 participants
  6. Allowance: Nu. 9,000 per month. In addition, a working lunch shall be provided for five
    (05) days. For the remaining days, meals shall either be self-arranged by the participants or
    centrally catered, in which case the applicable cost shall be deducted from the monthly
    allowance.

This training is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Gyalsups in disaster preparedness.

a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, Gyalsups who have successfully completed the
training are expected to voluntarily report for duty and render assistance whenever fire-related
incidents or emergencies occur, rather than remaining idle after acquiring the training, in the
spirit of service, responsibility and National Duty.
