Gyalsung Headquarters is excited to announce the 2nd batch of the Gyalsung Skilling Program (GSP). In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD), this program is designed to provide Gyalsups with technical skills that are vital for both National Service and the modern job market.
Training Opportunities at JWPTI
All training will take place at the Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute (JWPTI) in Dekiling, Sarpang, with programs set to begin on 16 February 2026.
For this batch, Gyalsups can choose from three specialized courses:
1. Civil Work and Internal Finishing (Masonry) BQF C-II: This 12-month course offers 30 slots and is open to those with a Class VIII qualification or above.
2. Robotic (L3): This 10-month program has 20 slots available for those who have completed Class X or above.
3. Wooden Furniture Making: With 20 slots available, this 13-month course is open to those with a Class VI qualification or above.
Full Support for Participants
The Royal Government of Bhutan fully funds the GSP, covering all training costs, including meals and accommodation. Additionally, all participating Gyalsups will receive out-of-pocket expenses equivalent to those provided during training at the Gyalsung Academy.

Attendance Policy: Once selected, participants cannot withdraw from the program without a valid reason.
Selected Gyalsups are required to bring specific items for their training, including OG and RBA pattern combats, various boots (jungle, drill, and formal), PT uniforms, and personal bedding such as blankets and pillows.
