The inauguration ceremony for the Second Cohort training was held on December 16, 2024, simultaneously across the four Gyalsung academies located in Monggar, Samdrup Jongkhar, Samtse, and Wangdue Phodrang. The Commandants of each academy presided over their respective opening ceremonies.
At Gyalsung Academy Khotokha, a total of 492 Gyalsups have commenced their three-month training program, comprising 263 male and 229 female.
